A nation’s leaders must be seen to protect citizens at all cost. This is the responsibility. We have had too many examples of the opposite being the case amounting to egregious acts and atrocities.

Le SS Monte Rosa était en paquebot de ligne lancé en Allemagne en 1930. Pendant la 2e guerre mondiale, ce fut un navire de transport de troupes. A la fin de la guerre, il fut acheté par le Royaume-Uni et rebaptisé Empire Windrush. Le navire est connu pour avoir amené les premiers grands groupes d'immigrants des colonies britanniques de la Caraïbe au Royaume-Uni en 1948, d'où le nom de “Génération Windrush”. PetaAnneBaker@PA13BakerThe people whose interests we are (rightly) defending are not OUR citizens. They are British. It is exactly this notion that even if you were born in a country – if you are not a member of the majority race i.e. white, you cannot be a citizen which contributed to this injustice.
